My husband's boss requested a Cake Mama cake for one of her employees who was moving on in their organization. She worked with Michelle for many years and wanted a way to say "thank you" for all of her hard work. What better way than to say it with cake?! I was happy to oblige.
This cake is 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 yellow. The chocolate side is filled with chocolate fudge, buttercream and Oreo crumbles. The yellow side is filled with vanilla buttercream. The top of the cake is covered with vanilla buttercream and fondant/gum paste letters and flowers.
I think it's a very colorful way to say "thank you." Don't you?
